    I have a small 3000 book library at home. I read 2 languages, so it is divided about half and half between those two. I absolutely love science fiction but it is far from being my only interest. I like everything from history through biographies to Thrillers. I have a big collection of Alexander Dumas (the writer of the Three Musketeer), I got almost all Tom Clancy, and my newest favorite is Ted Bell and Vince Flynn.

    I also got into the habit of listening to audio books on my long drives across the state, just pop in the CDs and I keep listening for hours wile I drive. (Much better than listening to the same music over and over.)

    Here are some suggestions for you:

    Labyrinth by Kate Mosse

    The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón (It won several awards) I cant help but just love the way it starts: "A SECRET'S WORTH DEPENDS ON THE PEOPLE FROM WHOM IT MUST be kept..."

    Deception Point by Dan Brow (Talk about a good conspiracy)

    When I mention that I read a lot, people always ask what is my absolute favorite... and I always have to disappoint them by saying that I don't have any... There are just so many books that I enjoy to the fullest, so many that enhances my life, opens my eye, gives me more to think about, that it would be wrong to single out only one.

    mmmhollywould, I understand and share this addiction of yours and I'm proud of it.

    I'm sorry to hear about your asthma attack. I’m somewhat of an amateur natural healer, and I was immediately thinking that you would be able to benefit from lobelia in its tincture form.     I applaud you, learning 5 languages are not a small task. On the other hand, your arrogance amuses me. "master" is a word I would hardly use for your knowledge of the proper use of the English language.

    And don’t even start me on psychology… a bunch of money hungry hypocrites, whose definition of a new disease is like “DLTGTTPD”, and the only recommended cure for it is heavy drugging, lobotomy and electroshock therapy. (I’m sorry, I’m so rude… Let me spell out the disease for you less knowledgeable folks… “DLTGTTPD” stands for “Don’t Like To Go To The Psychologist/Psychiatrist Disorder”)
